Oct 1- Young at Heart (documentary)-Documents the true story of the final weeks of rehearsal for the Young at Heart Chorus in Northampton, MA, whose average age is 81, and many of whom must overcome health adversities to participate.

Oct 8th – Born into Brothels (documentary)-Two documentary filmmakers chronicle their time in Sonagchi, Calcutta and the relationships they developed with children of prostitutes who work the city's notorious red light district.

Oct 15th – The Soloist- A Los Angeles journalist befriends a homeless Julliard trained musician

October 22nd- 9500 Liberty (documentary) - A documentary on America's explosive battle over immigration policy.

Oct 29- For the Bible tells me so -An exploration of the intersection between religion and homosexuality in the U.S. and how the religious right has used its interpretation of the Bible to stigmatize the gay community (documentary)

Nov 5th- Beauty Academy of Kabul-A documentary following American women (some of whom emigrated from Afghanistan in the early 1980s) who return to the capital city of Kabul to open an American-style school for beauticians. Some of their students are women who maintained "underground" beauty salons while the city was under strict Taliban control.

Nov 12th Wall-e -n the distant future, a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind
